When the candidates for Sports Personality of the Year are named, you might think of Mo Farah or Bradley Wiggins, but here at TFPL we have our own Olympic star who could be in the running for the Sports Personality "Team of the Year" award. Tracey South, Recruitment Manager, has for the last month been heading off to different parts of London (and down to Dorset for the Sailing) assisting visitors and spectators at the different events as one of 70,000 volunteer Olympic Ambassadors.
She loved it so much that she's even going back for another dose at the Paralympic Marathon!
So impressed were the Olympic Organisers with the enthusiasm and friendliness of the volunteers, that MPs are suggesting they be considered for the coveted BBC team gong, so don't be surprised if this December Tracey ends up being recognised again for this great effort.
